Ahhh, the 80's. I am watching the Best of the 80's on VH1 with my kids, and they are cracking up as I re-live my childhood with the great "Big Hair Bands" Who knew that "Beat It," "Sweet Child of Mine," "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," and "Walk Like an Egyptian," (songs that- by the way- I had to sneak my radio into my closet as a kid to listen to...but loved anyway!) could bring such a bonding moment for us? LOL!
Today really was a day for water. We went to the pool for most of the afternoon, then when we came home, the kids played in the hose and little pool with water balloons the rest of the afternoon.
And then, we made fireworks in a glass-water, veg oil, and food coloring make an awesome show in a glass! The fun of summer days and nights! I love it when my kids have fun with the simplist things.
