The Good Fairy?!?

Really quickly before I head to bed....

My Rachel is so smart. Case in point....I was trying to help Jessy study for her Social Studies test. They are currently studying pre-Civil War. So, I asked her who ran against Abraham Lincoln for the presidency. Yep, Rachel got it. BEFORE Jessy. Good thing Jessy was in a good mood tonight, or that could have been trouble!

However, later in the evening.....
As Rachel was getting ready for bed tonight, she ran back to me in the kitchen and said (with the tone of her voice, like, how'd I miss this very exciting thing for 6 whole years)," Mom, what's the Good Fairy?" Hmmmmmm....good fairy???? So, I had to tell her I had no idea what the good fairy was. "On my calender, it says on April 10th, it's the Good Fairy!!" Man, did I hate to break it to her that it wasn't the Good Fairy, but Good Friday. She tried to insist for awhile that is was the good fairy, but we looked on my calender, and then on hers, and nope, it's Good Friday. Should I break it to her now that I'm the Easter Bunny too? Sigh...being a mom is tough work!!
