What's important

Today was a really good day. Ok, I'm not saying that to just be positive, really! Although I did have some things happen I'd rather not (like having to call 20 parents and tell them school was not out early today due to a mistake in our newsletter!), all in all it was a nice day.

My youngest had a soccer game (they lost, but who cares...they are 5-6 year olds!), and the weather was beautiful. In fact, if you looked up at the clouds without looking around, you could easily think you were in the Bahamas. (sorta!)

Then I went to the school and helped with the book fair for an hour or so, and it was very relaxing. Ok, that's probably not a good thing for the book fair, but it was a nice evening. I saw people I knew, there was food, and of course, the books! I bought more than I should have, but I just almost can't say no to a new book!

And there is the fact the sun shined ALL DAY. Oh, did I mention that already? :) But really, all day! And to top that off, it's going to rain tonight, and we may get a good storm. MMMM, I love a good storm at night!

Oh, and my very lovely neighbors took it upon themselves to mow my front yard. Did I mention I love my neighbors? They are a wonderful couple who really do show me love. I've got to figure out how to repay them.

I have people who love me. That is such a good feeling. I'm really torn about other things in my life, but knowing how many people really truly care for me makes me step back and re-evaluate what's important in life!

Till next ime...
