I've been tagged. This tag is simple and easy to do, quite brainless really.
1. Go to my documents/pictures
2. Go to my 6th file folder.
3. Go to my 6th picture.
4. Blog about it.
5. Tag 6 people to do the same. (I'm not going to tag people, please if you want to do it, do it. Also, if you do it, leave me a comment and let me know and I will check yours out!!)
I'm thinking the kids must have taken this picture, and I'm guessing, due to my Dad's leg in the picture, that it was probably Rachel. So, on content alone, I can tell you that this is Ally Black Dog, my parent's beloved rescue lab. She really is the baby at their house, and family get togethers are getting harder and harder on her, which is why she's hiding under the table.
Based on the other pictures in the folder, this picture was taken last June at my parents' 60th birthday party. We had an amazing time that weekend, and had friends and family from all over the US join us at my parents' "cabin" in Northern MN. My brother and his family came from IL, my pregnant sister and her husband came from PA, my Grandma from IA was there, as well as an aunt and uncle from NE, and Mom and Dad's best friends who are now scattered from TX to VA. I think I probably laughed more that weekend than I had in a long time. I hope we get to do it again for my parents' 70! Or heck, their 61st!!!!

Love that post!! Your parents' dog looks a lot like my parents' dog Jesse. She is black lab and retriever. And she too hides when things get loud or we have company. :-) They get very set in their ways in their old age!!
