So, it's been a really long time since I blogged. Whoops, sorry about that. I'm not very good at this keeping up with the day to day thing!!! And, thanks, Julie, for the reminder!
Hmmmm....I don't even know where to begin. Life is the same. Day to day is the same. Wait...I have an idea! I'm going to go get my calender and give a short recap of my life since I last blogged. Love it when I get those brilliant ideas, ha!
Wow. Ok, so the week after I blogged last, April 24, Jessy had her Spring Dance. She went with her then friend (turned boyfriend) Larry. Larry is a great kid. His kid sister was in my science class, and she and I loved swapping stories about them! hehe....anyway, they looked amazing, and I'll try to add pictures to this when I change back to my regular computer...stay tuned.

That same weekend, Andrew had state math contest in Springfield. That was a very fun weekend. Andrew did not place, but he says he had a very good time, so that is what counts. And I was so very proud of him for even being brave enough to take the tests.
The next weekend was confirmation. I, again, was so proud. Jessy was confirmed with a small group from the 1st United Methodist Church. She made the decision herself to join, not only the church, but the faith. Awwww....my heart melted just a little.

Let's see, what else...I spent a very relaxing weekend in Duluth. My Dad spoiled me rotten with his wonderful cooking, delicious martinis, AND I got to sleep in, and take long naps. Heaven, I tell you! Plus, my mom was there for great conversation and fun times. And my grandma came. I think she now thinks I'm a slug cause I slept to much!! But, it was the first weekend of my summer break, so I took full advantage of it!
I also had a girls night in there, somewhere! I love my girlfriends!
Oh, and I had a job interview back home. I didn't get the job, but I'm very glad I went through the motions. I went into the interview with the attitude that if this job was meant to be, it would be. I wanted it, but I just knew it would be okay if I didn't get it. So, I didn't get it, and I'm content to just stay put for now. I think God really knows where I'm needed, and this my just be the year I need to just have calm in my life. I'm trying!!
That brings us almost up to the present. I know I've left a lot out, but that's okay. :) The point is, I'm okay. I'm feeling stronger every day (well, most days). My day to day life is good. Tonight, I went to see my friend Rebecca sing on the square. The kids came with me, and ran around with their friends while I sat and talked with mine. It was almost a perfect night. This weekend, my friend is coming to visit with her kids. I can't wait.
Life is good. I'm happy.
A new goal of mine for the summer (well, 2, actually) I want to get more involved in church, and I want to get more involved with my community, or at least enjoy more community events. I want to make a difference. If God wants me to stay in Kirksville, I need make the most of it, and find out why.
Till next time....(and hopefully it will won't be another 2 months!!)
