Tis the Season

The shopping is done, cookies are baked (why do I make them again?), my waistline is growing, why do I feel so calm?!?
I still need to get stuff wrapped, the stockings finished (I'm very close), pack for an overnight road trip, call the kennel to board the dog, um....laundry, laundry, laundry, and clean, clean, clean. Don't forget grading. Why can't the regular stuff just be put on hold while we have the holiday season?

Tonight, we rang the bell for the Salvation Army, and I must say, I was really impressed with how many people gave! Usually, when I'm walking by the kettle, I don't notice many people giving, but today, it seemed like every other person gave. What a generous community I live in!!!
